Also at Woodstock Carlos Santanna gave a belated interview where he stated he was very wasted on mescalin, not because they knew they were going to play but because the schedule was so messed up they went on way before their true alloted time.He said the neck was bending like a snake and the strings were all wobbly.The Airplane also said most of them were still hi from the night before and nobody recommends playing wasted on acid as a planned gig.
